Ingredients
  • 3 Cloves Garlic
  • 5 Fresh Sage Leaves (Chopped)
  • 3 TBS Olive Oil
  • 16 oz Rigatoni Shaped Pasta
  • 1 Can Pumpkin Puree
  • 1 Cup Heavy Cream
  • 1/4 Cup Permease Cheese (Shredded)
  • 1 Cup Marinara Sauce
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions
  1. Cook the Pasta:
    • Boil the rigatoni in a large pot of salted water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté the Garlic and Sage:
    • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and chopped sage leaves, cooking until fragrant, about 2 minutes. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
  3. Make the Pumpkin Sauce:
    • Stir in the pumpkin purée, heavy cream, and marinara sauce. Mix well until everything is combined, then season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Combine the Pasta Sauce:
    • Add the cooked rigatoni to the skillet, stirring until the pasta is evenly coated with the pumpkin sauce.
  5. Serve:
    • Transfer to serving bowls and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Add extra sage leaves as garnish if desired.
