Cook the Sausage:
- In a skillet cook 4 pieces of sausage making sure to break it into small bite size pieces. Remove from pan but save the drippings.

Make the Roux:
- Melt butter in the pan with the sausage drippings.
- Add flour and mix to make a thick paste.
- Add your milk.
- Bring the milk to a boil and then let simmer for 5-10 minutes until the sauce thickens.

Mix and Serve:
- Add the cooked sausage back to the pan.
- Mix well and serve.
- Top over biscuits for a perfect breakfast.
